I'll be down with my jesters for a game or 2 and hopefully able to pick the brains of the ork players whilst there about paint schemes, effective units, best way to start with orks, etc

Thanks to all thoses that got down today. I had a great time, played 2 games and got hold of a LRBT. Also watched Ciaran show people how to play the horus heresy game.
Fantastic day and good laugh down the pub afterwards.

Aye, I walked out of the club to go get breakfast from the cafe, and came back and a bazillion people had turned up. Something like 20 people, 4-5 new faces and a good number of people who we only get to see now and then.

It was great that someone had tha patients to guide me through my first game in about 10 years. I now have an army list too.

I am now really sorry that I couldn't make it but glad you had a good turnout. Although I live a bit to far away to make it to the club on a regular basis I am keen for the Overlords to grow and grow so that I can turn up occasionally and play in your events and continue to listen to you podcast.. Keep up the good work guys and I hope this helps you continue to thrive.

The main aim of the Birthday was to celebrate a good year and to encourage people who live near but haven't made it down to come down for a game and it was an awesome success at both.

Well many thanks to Adam for the patiants it took to get me through the game and how my army seemed to be very much larger than his without his batting an eye lid.
